Get to know the artists:

The View from Madeleine's Couch
For 21 years, The View From Madeleine's Couch has forged a glorious and lush sonic path through Brazilian jazz and bossa nova.  Vocalist and percussionist Anje West has long been Australia's queen of bossa nova, and her musical and life partner, Kym Ambrose, is one of the finest vibes players in the country. Combined with the superb musicianship and unparalleled experience of their bandmates, Madcouch remains at the pinnacle of Brazilian music in Australia.

The Barleyshakes
Brewed in Ireland and distilled in Australia, the Barleyshakes are a Celtic band who manage to hold hands with the tradition of Irish music while infusing it with a fresh and contemporary spirit.   Formed in Dublin in 1995, their intense energy, beautiful harmony, and irresistible dance rhythms are the key to their longevity.

Cigány Weaver
Formed out of a love for the legendary partnership of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grapelli, Cigány Weaver are one of Australia's most exciting gypsy-jazz ensembles. Their virtuosic and energetic live performances invoke everything from subtle toe-tapping to exuberant dance floor foot-stomping.
