The Sunshine Coast Art Prize is one of the most dynamic and prestigious visual arts awards in Australia. 

The diverse range of works by established and emerging artists from across the country will be showcased in the Sunshine Coast Art Prize exhibition at Caloundra Regional Gallery from 25 July  to 15 September.

This year’s finalists include first time entries from artists with strong national and international profiles, such as Stephen Bush, Diena Georgetti and past Archibald prize winner Fiona Lowry.

The 2019 finalist exhibition will be an outstanding reflection of contemporary 2D arts practice in Australia. Selected works include oil and acrylic painting, print, textile, drawing and photography.

Come along for the 2019 Sunshine Coast Art Prize official opening and winner’s announcement, complete with live music, complimentary food and a cash bar.
