In:Situ

In:Situ

In:Situ is a group exhibition of professional contemporary artists from the Sunshine Coast, conducting an en plein air survey of the local region.

Painting en plein air, the artist experiences a phenomenological response to their subject, where a true connection and emotional response to the changing atmosphere exists.

Each artist brings their own unique perspective, style, and palette, to works created on-site at selected locations, both iconic and hidden, across the Sunshine Coast region. This exhibition showcases work from various locations on the Sunshine Coast. The artists have regularly met on site to work together exploring our beaches, the bush scrub of the wallum, and national parks, resulting in a dynamic and diverse exhibition.

Please note: The main gallery is only accessible by stairwell.
